Royal Caribbean Releases New Japan Sailings For September And October 2023

Royal Caribbean adds two new Singapore-Tokyo sailings to their Spectrum of the Seas cruise lineup in September and October 2023

Royal Caribbean is adding an additional pair of sailings to and from Japan in September and October 2023, introducing the new pair of 12-night Singapore To Tokyo/Tokyo To Singapore sailings, as well as ports of call for the pair of 12-night cruises.

The new pair of Singapore-Tokyo and Tokyo-Singapore cruises are scheduled to depart from Singapore on 19 September 2023 and Tokyo on 01 October 2023. Visiting destinations like Vietnam and Hong Kong.

3 to 5-Night Malaysia-Thailand Cruises Cancelled; Compensation Offered

As a result of these two new Singapore-Japan sailings, adjustments to itineraries have been made to accommodate the new sailings. A series of 3-night, 4-night and 5-night cruises visiting Port Klang (for Kuala Lumpur), Penang and Phuket, departing between 09 September 2023 and 12 October 2023 will be cancelled or amended. Affected guests will be entitled to the following compensation options:

Guests on 09 September 2023 Sailing:

  1. Stay on 09 September 2023 sailing
    Guests booked on the affected 5-Night Spice of Southeast Asia Cruise can remain on the same sailing date for a 3-Night Penang Cruise. Guests’ bookings will be moved to the new sailing automatically and will retain their current staterooms at the protected rate or current cruise rate, whichever is lower. Guests will also be entitled to Onboard Credit (OBC) at the following rates:

    • Interior/Oceanview/Balcony Staterooms: $100 USD per stateroom

    • Suites: $200 USD per stateroom

    • Third or more guest(s) in every stateroom: $50 USD per guest

    Guests with non-refundable, pre-purchased transportation expenses (flights, train tickets and/or vehicle rentals) may be entitled to up to $200 USD for domestic travel, and up to $400 USD for international travel, subject to review.

  2. Re-book an alternative 5N Spice of Southeast Asia Cruise
    Guests are also invited to rebook a similar 5-Night itinerary departing either 04 September 2023 or 19 December 2023, at their original cruise fare or current fare, whichever is lower. Guests will also be entitled to Onboard Credit (OBC) at the following rates:

  • Interior/Oceanview/Balcony Staterooms: $50 USD per stateroom

  • Suites: $100 USD per stateroom

  • Third or more guest(s) in every stateroom: $25 USD per guest

Guests with non-refundable, pre-purchased transportation expenses (flights, train tickets and/or vehicle rentals) may be entitled to up to $200 USD for domestic travel, and up to $400 USD for international travel, subject to review.

Re-book on other Royal Caribbean International sailings
Affected guests will have their non-refundable deposit change fees waived if the choose to re-book onto any other Royal Caribbean sailing. Guests will however be responsible for differences in pricing, gratuities and fees. Guests with non-refundable, pre-purchased transportation expenses (flights, train tickets and/or vehicle rentals) may be entitled to up to $200 USD for domestic travel, and up to $400 USD for international travel, subject to review.

Cancellation
Affected guests can also choose to cancel will receive a full refund. Any Future Cruise Credits (FCC) used will be reinstated. Guests with non-refundable, pre-purchased transportation expenses are entitled to reimbursement, subject to review.
