Resorts World Cruises’ Genting Dream will continue sailing from Singapore and Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang). This comes as Resorts World Cruises releases their 2024-2025 itineraries for sale. And compared to the 2023-2024 Deployment, this upcoming release includes a few changes.

New Departure Days For Singapore Cruises

Resorts World Cruises’ Genting Dream will continue having 3 weekly departures from Singapore through to April 2025. However, departure days have been changed to Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays. The longer 3-Night cruises now depart every Tuesday instead of Sunday, and 2-Night cruises will now sail every Sunday and Friday.

Genting Dream will also alternate between destinations weekly. 3-Night Penang-Kuala Lumpur Cruises and 3-Night Phuket Cruises will depart every alternate Tuesday. Notably absent is the technical calls in Port Klang, giving guests more time to spend in their ports-of-call, rather than having the ship rush back to disembark guests.

Take a look at the current run-down of Genting Dream’s weekly schedule from Singapore:

Our thoughts? The changes will definitely benefit guests’ experience on shore. Compared to the 2023-2024 deployment, port stays are now longer and better-timed. This would be most notable in the Phuket Cruises, where Genting Dream will stay in port until as late as 1:00 AM Local Time, allowing guests to enjoy the local nightlife scene.

Resorts World Cruises hopes the new itineraries will allow guests a better experience on shore, allowing them more time to explore their destinations and make more memories.

“With strong demand for the Genting Dream in the region and from the Fly-Cruise segment, we are pleased to announce our latest season of itineraries that will have convenient boarding timing and destination port time, which will elevate our guests’ experience in Phuket, Kuala Lumpur and Penang,” said Mr. Michael Goh, President of Resorts World Cruises.
