Royal Caribbean International’s highly-anticipated 2024-2025 Singapore Deployment has finally been released, confirming Anthem of the Seas’ deployment to Singapore from 2024 to 2025. Anthem of the Seas is now set to arrive in Singapore in November 2024, and cruises are currently scheduled up to March 2025.

As you prepare to book your adventure on Anthem, we have prepared a guide on what to do, see, eat and play. Also, stay till the end for our Stateroom and Suites Guide, where we give our stateroom recommendations!

General Introduction to Anthem of the Seas

Delivered in 2015, Anthem of the Seas was built by Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany — the same German shipyard also built well-known Asian cruise ships like SuperStar Virgo, Genting Dream and Spectrum of the Seas.

The second ship in the game-changing Quantum-class, Anthem of the Seas shares the same platform as Quantum of the Seas and Spectrum of the Seas (which also called Singapore home from 2019 to 2022, and 2022 to 2024 respectively). As such, her statistics are broadly similar tothe two ships, measuring in at 168,666 Gross Tons, 347 metres long and capacity for up to 4,905 passengers across 16 decks (15 passenger-accessible).

Instead of bears and pandas, Anthem of the Seas is home to Gigi The Giraffe! You can say hi to her on Deck 15, in her distinctive yellow swimsuit and pink swimming ring.

Anthem F&B - A Return Of Familiar Favourites

Just like the Spectrum and the previously-homeported Royal Caribbean ships, guests can expect to find complimentary classics like the SeaPlex Dog House and Sorrentos Pizza, as well as specialty options like the Japanese restaurant Izumi, Chops Grille steakhouse and Wonderland - Imaginative Cuisine. The Bionic Bar will also be around to serve up drinks made by its robotic bartenders!

What’s new (or what’s returning), were options that were never introduced aboard Spectrum of the Seas, namely:

Cafe Promenade

Cafe Promenade is returning to Royal Caribbean's Singapore sailings! Serving light bites like sandwiches, cakes and pastries, this complimentary dining option is open all day and late into the night. A great place for supper, if you want something else besides pizza.

Solarium Bistro

Serving up Healthy, Mediterranean-inspired flavours amid a scenic setting, Solarium Bistro was available on Quantum of the Seas. However, during the initial cruise restart in 2020, the dining venue was not open to guests.

With Anthem of the Seas, guests will now be able to enjoy breakfast, lunch, evening drinks and dinner at this beautiful dining venue located on deck 14, just adjacent to the Solarium.

Guests who have cruised with Royal Caribbean aboard the Mariner and Voyager of the Seas will remember this dining venue with its red vinyl seating booths. Aboard Anthem of the Seas, it is now found poolside, on Deck 14.

Coastal Kitchen

Anthem of the Seas will not feature the Gold and Silver Dining restaurants. Returning however, is Coastal Kitchen, available exclusively to guests in Suites, as well as members of the Pinnacle Club - the highest tier in the Crown And Anchor Society loyalty programme.

The Many Ways To Enjoy Anthem

And of course, we cannot forget about Anthem of the Seas’ star attractions, catering to just about every guest type. As a Quantum-class Cruise Ship, she offers the following experiences, some of which are unique to this class of cruise ship:

Staterooms & Suites Guide - Picking Your Staterooms On Anthem of the Seas

With accommodations spanning more than 2,100 staterooms and suites across 20 categories aboard Anthem of the Seas, first-time cruisers may feel a little daunted at picking the stateroom that’s right for them. Not to worry, Singapore Cruise Society has prepared a guide to help you pick the stateroom or suite to best suit your needs!

As a general rule of thumb, most staterooms and suites will accommodate up to 2 to 4 guests, with a decent amount offered as Connecting Rooms, with doors in-between joining two staterooms together. Guests will also find a selection of suites that can accommodate anywhere between 5 to 8 guests.

What’s New?

Interior Staterooms - Now With A View

Unlike Spectrum of the Seas, all Interior Staterooms aboard Anthem of the Seas (except Studio Interior Staterooms) will come with a Virtual Balcony as standard.

For those in the dark, the Virtual Balcony is an 80-Inch Full-Definition, floor-to-ceiling screen, showing live footage from cameras placed around the outside of the ship. The screen can be turned on and off at guests’ preference.

Connecting Staterooms for this category are also available.

Stateroom Recommendations:

Ocean view Staterooms

While the standard Ocean View staterooms (Category 1N, 2N) are of a standard size, the Spacious Ocean View Staterooms located on Decks 8 to 11 come with extra space, with some being significantly larger than the average cruise ship stateroom, comfortably fitting up to four adults!

Check out the video to see stateroom 9510 — one of the Spacious Ocean View staterooms that come with the extra real estate.

Ocean View Balcony

Ocean View Balcony staterooms span Decks 6 to 13, and is by far the most plentiful stateroom category onboard. But not all rooms are created equal, as some staterooms have a slightly larger balcony, without an extra charge!

An example? Stateroom 11250. On the deck plans, it is categorised as a “standard” Ocean View Balcony stateroom (1D). However, it comes with a slightly larger balcony compared to the standard balcony!

Ocean View With Large Balcony staterooms (Cat. 1C, 2C and 4C) typically come with an extra charge for the extra space.

Suites At A Glance:
